Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to not to construct any shops or structures in the open space available in between M and N Blocks, Periyar Vegetable Market, Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex, Koyambedu, Chennai - 600 092 alternatively further direct the respondents to provide adequate open or common space within KWMC in Koyambedu for unloading perishable commodities and also providing space for loading vegetables.
