Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to disburse the Earned Leave Surrender amount of Rs.24,176/-- with interest at the rate the leave encashment benefits for which the petitioner entitled for the period of 05/2109 along with Dearness Allowance (D.A) arrears with interest at the rate of 8% per annum from the said date of entitlement to till the date of actual disbursement within a time limit to be stipulated by this Court.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents to pay Dearness Allowance arrears and leave encashment benefit which has not been paid to the petitioner though he had retired from service on 15.07.2022.
2.The petitioner had been working as Special Grade Driver in the Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (Villupuram) Ltd., Vellore Region. He retired from service on 15.07.2022. The petitioner claims that the leave encashment benefit of Rs.21,962/- for the period 05/2019 and Dearness Allowance arrears of Rs.9,840/- had not been paid to him. 3.Heard the learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
4.The respondents may examine the service register of the petitioner and examine whether the petitioner is entitled for leave encashment amount and arrears dearness allowance and if he is entitled, determine the eligible amount and pay the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The respondents must also pay the same together with interest at 6% per annum from the date of retirement till the date of actual disbursement.
5.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
