Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuing a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to stop the further proceedings of the respondents to extending the road in the petitioner's patta land in S.No.368/3, 368/4B1 at Mettupalayam Village, Perambalur District and lay the road in the land purchased by the Union Panchayat at Mettupalayam Village, Perambalur District.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 6 to stop the further proceedings of the respondents from extending the road in the petitioner's patta land in S.Nos.368/3, 368/4B1 at Mettupalayam Village, Perambalur District and lay the road in the land purchased by the Union Panchayat at Mettupalayam Village, Perambalur District.

2. It is the apprehension of the petitioner is that the respondents are trying to lay the road in her patta land in S.Nos.368/3, 368/4B1.

3. Ms. A. Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and 5 submitted that the respondents are going to lay the road in S.Nos.368/4B2 and 368/12 and not in the petitioner's patta land in S.Nos. 368/3 and 368/4B1. Since the respondents are not going to lay the road in the petitioner's patta land, no further relief need be granted to the petitioner.
