ORDER
The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to accept the application submitted by the writ petitioner and permit him to participate in the interview for appointment to the post of Animal Husbandry Assistant based on the representation dated 03.03.2018.
2. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the writ petitioner has not submitted his application within the time limit prescribed in the recruitment notification. The last date fixed for receiving the application was 13.02.2018 and the application submitted by the writ petitioner was not received within the time limit prescribed in the recruitment notification. Thus, the application submitted by the petitioner was not considered.
3. It is brought to the notice of this Court that the process of selection had already been postponed and the interview was also not conducted. This being the factum, the relief as such sought for in the present writ petition deserves no further consideration and this apart, the writ petitioner had not submitted the application within the time limit prescribed under the recruitment notification. Thus, the writ petitioner has not established any acceptable ground for the purpose of entertaining the writ petition and therefore, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
