ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner who was arrested on 12.01.2021 for the offence under Sections 8(c), 22(c) and 29(1) of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 in Cr.No.17 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.It is the case of the prosecution that petitioner along with the other accused was found in possession of crystal form of 65 grams of amphetamine drug.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and that he has been falsely implicated in this case. He would further submit that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case and the contraband was seized only from A1. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that though the contraband was seized from A1, all the accused equally invested the amount.

5.Considering the quantity of the contraband seized and the fact that all the accused had equally invested the amount, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. 6.Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed. -sd/- 15/04/2021 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.)
