PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C to modify the order in Crl.M.P.No.25577 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.371 of 2022 dated 22.12.2022 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, now pending on the file of XVIII Additional Sessions Court, Chennai. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the order in Crl.M.P.No.25577 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.371 of 2022 dated 22.12.2022 on the file of Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai, now pending on the file of XVIII Additional Sessions Court, Chennai.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, though the prayer is for modification of the order passed by the XVIII Additional Sessions Court, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.25577 of 2022 in Crl.A.No.371 of 2022 dated 22.12.2022, she restricts her prayer only to extent of seeking extension of time to comply with the Order passed by XVIII Additional Sessions Court, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.25577 of 2022.

3. Learned Judge while suspending the sentence, imposed a condition to deposit 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of C.C.number on the file of the Trial court within a period of 60 days from the date of the Order, among other conditions.

4. It is the submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that, due to his financial difficulty, petitioner was not able to comply with the condition within 60 days. Therefore, she now seeks extension of time to comply with the condition in the Order passed by XVIII Additional Sessions Court, Chennai in Crl.M.P.No.25577 of 2022 to pay 20% of the compensation amount.

5. In such circumstances, this Court extends further period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order to pay 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of C.C.number on the file of the Trial court.
