The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to register the document bearing Pending No.30/2015 presented on 19.03.2015 for registration.
2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.P.Purushothaman, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, submitted that the pending document No.30/2015 has been duly registered as Document No.2815/2020. Further, the learned Government Advocate submitted that the petitioner need not pay any additional stamp duty or registration charges in respect of the said document. To that effect, the learned Government Advocate also produced a letter written by the respondent to the learned Government Advocate dated 03.09.2020, which is also taken on record.

3.Since the respondent had already registered the document, no further direction needs to be issued to the respondent. The petitioner can collect the document from the respondent. Recording the same, this writ petition is closed. No costs.
