Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an enquiry into the identification of beneficiaries in respect of the allotment of free house sites in Survey No.445/2, T.Pudupalayam Village, Tirukovilur Taluk, Villupuram District and consequently, remove the respondents 4 to 28 or other ineligible persons from the beneficiaries list and consider the petitioners' cases for allotment of free house sites in accordance with law. The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to conduct an enquiry into the identification of beneficiaries in respect of the allotment of free house sites in Survey No.445/2, T.Pudupalayam Village, Tirukovilur Taluk, Villupuram District and consequently, remove the respondents 4 to 28 or other ineligible persons from the beneficiaries list and consider the petitioners' cases for allotment of free house sites in accordance with law.
2.Today, when this writ petition is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that liberty be granted to the petitioner to go before the authority concerned, if the same cause of action continues.
3.Granting such liberty to the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
