2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that, if the petitioner gives fresh representation seeking police protection, the same may be considered.

3. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the petitioner to give fresh representation seeking police protection. On such receipt, the respondent police is directed to consider the representation within a period of four weeks. 2/4
