O R D E R

The prayer sought for in this petition is to quash the Charge Sheet filed by the 1st respondent in C.C.No.350 of 2019 on the file of the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai.

2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Without any base, the first respondent police registered a case in Crime No.233 of 2018 for the offences under Section 294(b), 353 and 506(ii) of IPC and filed Charge Sheet in C.C.No.350 of 2019 before the learned V Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, Chennai as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

against the petitioner. Hence he prayed to quash the same.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that this is not only a case against the petitioner, there are other cases also pending against the petitioner. 4.

Heard Mr.B.Logendiran, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Mohamed Riyaz, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent. 5.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court does not find any merit in this petition and is not inclined to quash the Charge Sheet.

6. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
