Prayer : Writ Petition, filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for records relating to the Training Circular No.4 of 2012, dated 18.06.2012, and Training Circular No.6 of 2014, dated 16.06.2014 of the second and third respondents and to quash the same and consequently, to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the application, dated 10.03.2015 of the petitioner, for approval in respect of B.E. (Marine Engineering) Programme from the academic year 2015-16.

ORDER

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to quash the Training Circular No.4 of 2012, dated 18.06.2012, and Training Circular No.6 of 2014, dated 16.06.2014 of the second and third respondents and to direct the respondents 1 to 3 herein to consider the petitioner's application, dated 10.03.2015 made for approval in respect of B.E. (Marine Engineering) Programme for the academic year 2015-16.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted though the petitioner has sought for quashing the training circulars issued by the second and third respondents, the learned counsel submitted that the petitioner would be satisfied if his application, dated 10.03.2015, made to the third respondent is disposed of within the stipulated time. The learned counsel also produced a copy of the similar order passed by this Court in W.P.No.5460 of 2013, dated 17.04.2014, wherein, in Para No.4, this Court observed as follows:- "Considering the above said submissions, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court directs the respondent to consider the case of the petitioner for the coming academic year 2014-2015, if the petitioner is otherwise eligible. It is does not mean that this Court has given specific direction for the petitioner, to be accommodated. If any materials are required by the respondent, the same may be asked for from the petitioner and the petitioner should furnish the same to enable the petitioner to get

appropriate relief for the forthcoming academic year. The respondent is directed to consider the case of the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of the necessary papers required by the respondent and produced by the petitioner. The necessary particulars may be called for by the respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of the necessary particulars, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders within four weeks thereafter. ".

In view of the earlier order passed by this Court, as quoted above, the present Writ Petition is also disposed of, by directing the third respondent to pass orders on the representation/application of the petitioner, dated 10.03.2015, as per the terms stated in para No.4 of the order, dated 17.04.2014, passed in W.P.No.5460 of 2013, as mentioned above. No costs. Consequently, connected M.P.s are closed.
