This petition is filed to condone the delay of 22 days in filing the appeal.

Heard Mr.B.Sathish Sundar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.N.Ramesh, learned Special Public Prosecutor for the respondent, who has no serious objections.

The delay is 22 days. Having been satisfied with the reasons stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 22 days in filing the appeal is condoned. Accordingly, the petition stands ordered.
