The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records of the first respondent in connection with the impugned order issued by the second respondent in Proc.No.E2/3001/12 dated 20.03.2012 and quash the same and further direct the respondents to superannuate the petitioner from service and grant him all consequential service and monetary benefits and grant such other further relief.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the matter has become infructuous and nothing survives for further adjudication. Hence, he prayed this Court to dismiss the present writ petition as infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect in the case bundle.

3. In view of the above submission coupled with an endorsement made by the counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
