ORDER

Today the matter is listed under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, though this Court directed the petitioner to deposit a Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- before the Judicial Magistrate, Kangayam, in C.C.No.34 of 2010 on or before 10.04.2026, the petitioner was unable to comply with the said direction as the copy of the order was received belatedly. 3.

Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is inclined to grant further time. Accordingly, the petitioner shall deposit the Demand Draft for a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- before the Judicial Magistrate, Kangayam, in C.C.No.34 of 2010 on or before 24.04.2026. Failing which, the order of conviction and sentence imposed by the Trial Court and confirmed by the Appellate Court shall stand automatically restored. 17.04.2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order LPP Note : Issue order copy today.
