ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to quash the case in C.C.No.461 of 2022 on the file of Additional Mahila Court, Cuddalore, in connection with Crime No.9 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police.

2. This Court heard and gone through the grounds taken by the petitioner and also the statements recorded from the witnesses especially L.W.1, L.W.2 and L.W.5.

3. A careful perusal of the statements recorded from the above witnesses shows that the witnesses have clearly spoken about the involvement of the petitioner and there is a specific overt-act against the petitioner and that there are prima facie allegations to proceed the case as against the petitioner.

4. Under these circumstances, this Court does not find any ground to quash the case against the petitioner in C.C.No.461 of 2022. 2/4
