ORDER

A Memo had been filed indicating that the plaintiff herein had been merged with HDFC Bank Limited by orders passed by the National Company Law Tribunal, Mumbai Bench in Company Scheme Petition No.243 of 2022. Further it had been indicated that by order dated 17.03.2023 in Company Scheme Application No.200 of 2022, HDFC Bank Limited is entitled to proceed further to recover the dues from the plaintiff and that the transferor of HDFC Bank is a notified Bank under the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act 1993.

3. Applying Section 31 of the Recovery of Debts and Bankruptcy Act 1993, it is imperative that these proceedings would have to be transferred to the jurisdictional Tribunal constituted under the Act.

4. In such view of the matter, the Registry is directed to transfer the above captioned suit to the file of the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Chennai forthwith. On such transfer, the Suit shall stand struck off from the Register maintained by this Court. 21-07-2025 Gba https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
