This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent police to direct the respondent herein to complete the investigation in Crime No.4943 of 2014 and file a final report within a period stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

2. Heard Mr.V.Karnan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. No representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the petition enquiry is pending in Crime.No.4943 of 2014 before the respondent.

4. The respondent is directed to investigate and file a Final Report expeditiously.
