O R D E R

The petitioner, who is a Senior Lecturer and having four more years of service, has come to this Court seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider his requisition dated 29.11.2016 and 27.03.2017 for the post of Head of Department in the branch of Performing Arts (Vocal & Mirudhangam) in the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent Institution by following the Rules of Recruitment approved in the 22nd Governing Body Meeting vide Resolution No.22.8.0 dated 05.12.2007 within a specific period. 2.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents sought six weeks time to consider the representation made by the petitioner.

3.Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this Court, directs the second respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
