Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 18.12.2020 of the petitioner herein to rectify the mistake committed in Patta No.1853 in respect of S.No.528/2C2, Errahalli-2 Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District and to issue fresh patta mentioning the correct extent of land therein as 1.91 acres instead of 2.32 acres.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed for a writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider the representation dated 18.12.2020 of the petitioner herein to rectify the mistake committed in Patta No.1853 in respect of S.No.528/2C2, Errahalli-2 Village, Krishnagiri Taluk and District and to issue fresh patta mentioning the correct extent of land therein as 1.91 acres instead of 2.32 acres.

2.Mrs.R.Janaki, learned Additional Government Pleader entered appearance for the respondents 1 to 3 and submitted that an enquiry is scheduled to take place on 21.05.2021 at 3.00 p.m at the office of the third respondent.

3.The said statement of the learned Additional Government Pleader is recorded.

4.In view of the above, no further direction is required to be given except that the third respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision, provide them a fair and effective hearing and to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight (8) weeks (after the conclusion of the General Elections to the Legislative Assembly - 2021) from 21.05.2021. 5.The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly.
