Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.12.2014, and consequently, provide state government monthly relief assistance of Rs.1,000/- to the petitioner.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the time of admission itself.

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 30.12.2014, and consequently, to provide state government monthly relief assistance of Rs.1,000/- to him. 3.

Heard both sides.

The petitioner is a visually challenged person by birth. According to him, differently abled persons are given monthly assistance of Rs.1,000/- by the Government. Seeking for the said relief, the petitioner made representation, dated 30.12.2014 to the respondents. She also enclosed the acknowledgment at Page No.7 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the typed set of documents filed along with this Petition for having sent such representation. Since the said representation evoked no response, the petitioner is before this Court by way of present Writ Petition, seeking for the aforesaid relief.

In view of the above facts of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the first respondent/District Collector to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner on merits and pass orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
