ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to rectify the alleged errors in the UDR patta standing in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition and thereafter, to issue a fresh patta in favour of the petitioner, based on his representation, dated 13.10.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner had given a representation on 13.10.2025 to the respondents for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same was not considered by the respondents till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. Page No.2 of 6

3. Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation, dated 13.10.2025 seeking for rectification of the alleged errors in the UDR patta and change of patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party, whom the 2nd Page No.3 of 6

respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
