Respondent(s) PRAYER:-Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.01.2026 in accordance with law and conduct a proper survey of the property comprised in Survey No.228/2A, Patta No.1059, Anandur Village and Demarcate and delimit the boundaries of the petitioners land by confirming his rightful ownership.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate the property, which according to the petitioner is owned by him, based on his representation dated 03.01.2026, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 2.The petitioner had submitted a representation on 03.01.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice will be caused to the respondents 2 and 3 if the said authorities are directed to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the petitioner's property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections if any from the neighbouring land owners as well as any other party as they deem fit. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of in the following manner:-

(a) Before surveying the lands in question, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to issue notice to the neighbouring land owners and also to any other party, if they deem fit to put on notice.

(b) After receiving objections if any and after considering the same, the respondents 2 and 3 shall conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the property, more fully described in the prayer to this writ petition, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
