This application has been filed by the applicants for a direction to the respondent to comply with the orders passed by this Court in A.No.135 of 1983 in C.S.No.274 of 1899 dated 08.04.1983 and to execute and register the sale deed of the scheduled mentioned property:

i) in favour of the 1st applicant to the extent of share of the 1st and the 3rd applicants; and ii) in favour of the 2nd applicant to the extent of share of the 2nd, 4th and 5th applicants.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by the learned Administrator General and Official Trustee (AG & OT) that after a lapse of 40 years, viz., beyond the period of limitation, this application has been filed and AG&OT is not willing to sell the property on the guideline value.

3. In view of the above submission, it is open to the applicant to purchase the property on the market value in case AG&OT is willing to part with the property or enter into an agreement to continue in the property as tenant. It is reiterated that in the event of https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

ar AG&OT turning down the option of buying the property on the market value, the applicant has no other option, but to continue as tenant by entering into a lease agreement for not more than three years.
