The Civil Miscellaneous Petition is filed seeking extension of time fixed by this Court by its order dated 21.04.2025 in C.R.P.(PD).No.1605 of 2025 to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.2018 of 2023. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. A perusal of the order passed by this Court on 21.04.2025 would indicate the Trial Court has been directed to dispose of the suit within a period of 9 months from the date of receipt of copy of the order. It is also seen the said order was despatched only on 04.07.2025. Therefore, the time limit fixed by this Court will expire only during the month of April-2026.

3. It is stated that the trial in the suit is going on and it is in the stage of PW.1 cross. When the time limit fixed by this Court is not expired, there is no necessity for the petitioner to file an application seeking extension of time. Therefore, the Civil Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. 24.02.2026 dm To VI Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai.
