ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's son A.Mohammed Abbas, aged about 16 years or is body before this Court from the illegal custody of the 3rd and 4th respondents and hand over to the petitioner.

It is the case of the petitioner that her son A.Mohammed Abbas, aged about 16 years, went missing from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

20.02.2021 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure him.

Today, Mr.M.Thanigaiselvam (Mobile No.94981 49952), Special Sub-Inspector of Police, Ranipet Police Station, is present.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Ranipet Police Station Crime No.83 of 2021 for 'boy missing' was registered on 20.02.2021 and on 27.02.2021, detenu A.Mohammed Abbas, aged about 16 years, was secured by the police and his custody was handed over to his father.
