PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to grant sufficient police protection to the petitioners for fencing their property comprised in S.No.64/1, situated at Pallavaram, Chengalpattu District by considering their representation dated 06.02.2022.

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to grant sufficient police protection to the petitioners for fencing their property comprised in S.No.64/1, situated at Pallavaram, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Chengalpattu District by considering their representation dated 06.02.2022.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Government Advocate would submit that earlier, the Petitioner had given a complaint against the officials of the Archaeological Survey of India, enquiry was conducted and when the Petitioner was summoned, he did not appear for enquiry and thereby, the earlier enquiry has been closed. Even now the Respondent has not received any representation so far. However, perusal of the petition reveals that there exists a civil dispute between the petitioner and Respondent 3 & 4. He would further submit that if the Petitioner gives fresh representation, due enquiry would be conducted after giving notice to the counter parties and appropriate police protection will be provided, if necessary.

3.Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
