..Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the 2nd respondent in C.M.P.No.04/GOONDA/C2/2021 dated 10.02.2021 against the petitioner's son viz., Karthick, aged about 25 years, son of Subramani, who is confined at Central Prison, Salem and set aside the same and consequently direct the respondents to produce the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in C.M.P.No.04/GOONDA/C2/2021 dated 10.02.2021, detaining her son as "Goonda" under Section 2(f) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.1778, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 15.04.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order. Recording the same, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed.
