Heard Mr. A.Suresh Sakthi Murugan, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Mr. Anand Gopalan, Learned Counsel for the Respondent and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed for directing the Respondent to consider and pass order on the representation dated 07.04.2016 made by the Petitioner Union for the implementation of the provisions of Payment of Bonus (Amendment) Act, 2015, and to further direct the Respondent to release the arrears bonus amount for the financial year 2014-2015. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that by efflux of time, the relief sought in this Writ Petition does not remain for consideration, and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record.

In fine, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
