ORDER
The Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondent to pass necessary orders registering the DTCP Approved Project under layout vide No.PP/ JDD TCP (TD) No.144/ 2023 and on such registration, the
respondent may be directed to provide the registration number and login ID with Password for accessing the Website of the Authority, as required under Section 5 of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development ) Act, 2016

The facts of the case is that the petitioner is one of the owners of the land to an extent of 15.79 cents in Survey No.1/1, 1/2A, 1/3A, 1/5, 1/6, 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, 1/10, 2/2, 258/1 and 258/2 in Kambarasampettai Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District. The land was subjected to layout proceedings, and the Director of Town and Country Planning, Chennai, granted the approval via layout No.PP/ JDD TCP (TD) No.144/ 2023. To register the layout, the petitioner submitted an application dated 08.11.2023 and it was acknowledged by the respondent on 19.08.2025. However, as the respondent has failed to take action on the application to date, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner further submitted that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the said representation dated 19.08.2025, within a stipulated period as fixed by this Court.
4. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed on merits.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed on record.
6. In view of the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.08.2025, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
