ORDER

(made by P.VELMURUGAN, J.) This Court has initiated a suo motu contempt proceedings against the respondent/contemnor as per the order dated 11.12.2019 passed by the Hon'ble Chief Justice in Roc.No.1106/2020/OS for non-compliance of the order dated 25.04.2019 passed in anticipatory bail petitions (Crl.O.P.Nos.16010 & 17083 of 2018). However, later, the respondent/contemnor approached the Supreme Court in Special Leave to Appeal (Crl.) Nos.875-878 of 2020 and the Apex Court vide order dated 14.02.2023 has set aside the order passed by this Court on 15.11.2019. 2.

In view of the same, the contempt proceedings initiated by this Court does not survive and therefore, the contempt petition is closed. Since bailable warrant was issued to the respondent/contemnor, he appeared before this Court today. The bailable warrant issued against the respondent/contemnor is recalled and the personal appearance of the respondent/contemnor is dispensed with.
