Ms.D.Sathya, representing Ms.Zeenath Begum, learned Counsel on record for the appellant, Mr.Prithviraj, representing Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned Counsel on record for the respondent are before this Court. 2.Learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the matter has been settled between the parties before the District Mediation Centre, Salem District.

3.The appellant has paid a sum of Rs.32,00,000/- as per the settlement agreement as well as the mediation report dated July 15, 2025. The above fact is recorded.

4.This Court has received the Mediation Report dated July 15, 2025. Perused the case file, Mediation Report and the Joint Memo dated July 15, 2025 filed by the parties. The Joint Memo and the Mediation Report are hereby recorded.

5.The Appeal Suit is disposed of in terms of the Joint Memo and the Mediation Report. The Joint Memo and the Mediation Report shall form part and parcel of the Decree. In view of the facts and circumstances of this case, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.

6.The Registry is directed to refund the Court Fee paid in this Appeal Suit in view of the judgment of Hon'ble Supreme Court in Registrar General -vs- M.C.Subramaniam and Others, reported in 2021 Online SC 109. 15.10.2025 Index : Yes / No Speaking : Yes / No : Yes / No PAM/TK To The II Additional District Court Salem.
