ORDER

(Order of this Court was made by M.S.RAMESH.J,) The prayer in the Writ Petition is to quash the summons issued by the Enforcement Directorate, calling upon the petitioner herein to appear before them on 18.02.2025.

2. When the Writ Petition was taken up for hearing on 14.02.2025, we had recorded the submissions of the petitioner that though he has challenged the summons, he is willing to appear before the authorities and accordingly, we gave liberty to the petitioner to appear before the authorities.

3. Today, the learned Special Public Prosecutor for the respondents would submit that in consequence to the order passed on 14.02.2025, the

petitioner had appeared before the authorities.

4. The submission of the learned Special Public Prosecutor is hereby recorded. Since the hearing date in the impugned summons has lapsed, no effective orders require to be passed in the present Writ Petition. It is needless to point out that in case the petitioner is intends to challenge the entire proceedings, if permissible, it is always open to him to challenge the same in the manner known to law.

5. In the light of the above, this Writ Petition stands closed accordingly. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
