The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct proper investigation in accordance with Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issued by the Inspector General of Registration under Section 83 of the Registration Act, 1908 and dispose of the representation dated 07.03.2017 given to the 1st respondent within a time frame. 2.Mr.A.N.Thambidurai, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation under Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 and conduct proper enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, it is needless to say that the respondents should pass orders under Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011, only after conducting proper enquiry. In these circumstances, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to conduct proper enquiry in accordance with Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 issued by the Inspector General of Registration and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the representation of the petitioner dated 07.03.2017, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With these observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
