ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's loan application for setting up of a 'Centering Unit' for civil construction work under Prime Minister's loan scheme sanctioned by the Government of India.

2. Since no adverse order is being passed against the respondents, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.

3. It is the case of the petitioner that upon submitting the application made for Self Employment Loan under Prime Minister's Scheme, the petitioner was selected in the interview for sanction of loan for self employment. The Branch Manager of the respondent bank had inspected the petitioner's house and the shop where the business is proposed to be started after the sanction of loan and thereafter there was response from the respondent bank. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation dated

10.10.2022 to the concerned authorities seeking sanction of the loan under the Prime Minister's Scheme. Since, no action has been taken till date, the petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 10.10.2022 seeking sanction of loan under the Prime Minister's Scheme and pass appropriate orders on the same on merits within the time that may be stipulated by this Court.

In view of the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the petitioner to submit a copy of the representation to the respondent along with the copy of this order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. There shall be no order as to costs.
