The relief sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to direct the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's appeal dated 19.08.2017 which was preferred against the confirmation of recovery. 2.The writ petitioner preferred an appeal on 19.08.2017, challenging the order of recovery. The petitioner served as an Assistant Director in the Rural Development Department and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

retired from service on 30.06.2008. On account of certain allegations, an order of recovery was passed and challenging the said order, the petitioner preferred an appeal before the first respondent and the said appeal is yet to be considered. 3.Under these circumstances and without going to the merits of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal submitted by the petitioner dated 19.08.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The writ petitioner is directed to enclose the copies of appeal and Government orders, if any, along with the order passed in the writ petition.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
