O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the Statuary Revision filed by the petitioner under Section 153 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. 2.The case of the petitioner is that he was working as a Secretary in the 2nd respondent Society and subsequently, he was allowed to retire from service on the date of his superannuation. The petitioner was not settled with all the terminal benefits and therefore, approached this Court seeking for appropriate directions. This Court gave liberty to the petitioner to approach the competent authority under the Act. Consequently, the petitioner had approached the 1st respondent and filed the revision petition under Section 153 of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act, 1983. The grievance of the petitioner is that this revision petition is pending till date and no orders have been passed.

3.Heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited relief that has been sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders in the revision petition filed by the petitioner on 04.04.2018 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the 1st respondent along with a copy of the revision petition dated 04.04.2018 and a copy of this order.

5.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No Costs.
