No.7655 of 2018) Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents 1 and 2 from conducting the election of the third respondent society in S.575, Palayam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., Palayam Pudur, Nallampalli Taluk and Dharmapuri District scheduled to

be held on 02.04.2018 without giving an opportunity to the petitioner herein.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1391/2018/T.nj.1 (2). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
