ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the refusal check slip dated 08.02.2025 issued by the 2 nd respondent and for a consequential direction to the 2 nd respondent to register the settlement deed dated 08.02.2025 executed by the petitioner in favour of her daughter.

Heard Mr.G.Govarthanam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Karthick Jagannath, learned Government Advocate for Respondents 1 and 2. 3.

The refusal check slip has been issued mainly on the ground that

the petitioner did not produce the original title document. In the affidavit filed in support of the writ petition, it has been stated that the original title document has been lost by the petitioner. The petitioner can add a recital in the settlement deed stating that the original title documents are lost. The same will be taken into consideration by the 2 nd respondent and the settlement deed shall be registered, if it is otherwise in order.
