ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest for the alleged offences under Section 376(2)(i), in Crime No.10 of 2018, on the file of the respondent/Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is a sole accused in this case. It is alleged that the victim is a physically challenged girl and the petitioner who is 65 years old sexually assaulted her and thereby she got pregnant. Based on the complaint given by the mother of the victim the case came to be registered.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the victim is very pathetic and she is also a deaf and dum girl and the petitioner has sexually assaulted her and thereby she got pregnant and also delivered a child, subsequently she died. He would further submit that the respondent police recorded the statement of the victim girl and she has also identified the petitioner. Hence, he opposed to grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.Considering the gravity of offence committed by the petitioner and the victim girl also died, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the petition is dismissed.
