ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the

prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2024 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the owner of the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. He has given a representation on 17.05.2024 to the respondents, seeking for issuance of patta in his name for the said property. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. R. P. Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners if any as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 17.05.2024, seeking for issuance of patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners if any as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire

7. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
