ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.Subramaniam J.) The learned counsel for the petitioner after arguing the matter for a considerable length of time made a submission that the petitioner will abide by the order of the Government dated 22.08.2023 passed under Section 80A of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971.

2. The three-months time granted by the Government had expired long ago. Despite the lapse of over one and half years, the petitioner had not carried out the directions issued by the Government. Consequenlty, the authorities are directed to ensure that the order of the Government is implemented within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in the

event of failure on the part of the petitioner in complying with the Government.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel for the petitioner has chosen to withdraw the writ petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn. No costs.
