Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, seeking to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to allow amendment of entry of EPCG Authorization No.3530003185 dated 31.03.2008 and name of the Licence Holder-cum-Manufacturer name viz., M/s.Bellco Industries, Tirunelveli, in all the three Shipping Bill numbers and dated viz., (1) 4004157 / 20.12.2010 (2) 4098776 / 04.03.2011 and (3)7925930 / 08.03.2012 for the validation for the purpose of Re-Assessment and Recomputation of Exports obligation made under the above EPCG Authorization dated 31.03.2008 within the time as fixed by this Court. ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 herein to allow amendment of entry of EPCG Authorization No.3530003185 dated 31.03.2008 and name of the Licence Holder-cumManufacturer name viz., M/s.Bellco Industries, Tirunelveli, in all the three Shipping Bill numbers and dated viz., (1) 4004157 / 20.12.2010 (2) 4098776 / 04.03.2011 and (3)7925930 / 08.03.2012 for the validation for the purpose of Re-Assessment and Re-computation of Exports obligation made under the above EPCG Authorization dated 31.03.2008 within the time as fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner though prayed for a larger relief in this writ petition, he confined the same and submit that it would be suffice that the first respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the
petitioner dated 05.09.2022, within a stipulated period in the light of the similar orders passed by the Division bench of this Court.
3. In view of the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.09.2025 in the light of the orders passed by the Division Bench of this Court in similar matters and on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 14-10-2025 vum Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order
