O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to sub-divide the property and to issue separate patta in favour of the petitioner in respect to the subject property by considering the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.12.2024.

2. Heard Mr.M.Vignesh, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioner is claiming right over the subject property through a registered sale deed dated 23.04.2018. A joint patta was also issued in Patta 2/4

No.1992 wherein the petitioner is shown as a joint patta holder. The petitioner wanted sub-division of the property and for issuance of separate patta. An OnLine application was submitted on 19.12.2024 in this regard. Since there was no progress, this writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to deal with the application submitted by the petitioner on 19.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
