Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering or disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land situate in Survey No.950/2 in Madhavaram Village measuring about 96 cents or thereabouts.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to forbear the respondents from in any manner interfering or disturbing the petitioner's peaceful possession and enjoyment of the land situate in Survey No.950/2 in Madhavaram Village measuring about 96 cents.

2.The petitioner who is a temple claims that the land in Survey No.950/2 in Madhavaram Village measuring about 96 cents belongs to the temple. However, the respondents are interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the temple without any authority. Thus, the writ petitioner is constrained to move the present writ petition.
3.The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents now submitted the written instructions issued by Mr.K.Ramesh, Tahsildar, Madhavaram to the Government Pleader, High Court of Madras stating that the Revenue Officials have dropped further proceedings in respect of the said land in Survey No.950/2 in Madhavaram Village.
4. In view of the fact that all further actions by the Revenue Officials are deferred, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken in respect of the grounds raised in this writ petition.
5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
