Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track No.I, Alandur, Chennai to dispose the C.C.No.242 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible within a period of stipulated time.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate Fast Track No.I, Alandur, Chennai, to dispose the C.C.No.242 of 2017. 2.It is seen from records that a private complaint under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act has been filed by the petitioner in C.C.No.242 of 2017 and the same has been taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.I, Alandur, Chennai. Thereafter, the petitioner has been examined in chief and also marked documents. However, the respondent did not come forward to cross examine the petitioner and hence the trial itself has not been effectively started in this case.

3. Taking into consideration the facts of the case, there shall be a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Fast Track Court No.I, Alandur, Chennai, to dispose of C.C.No.242 of 2017 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner as well as the respondent are directed to cooperate with the Court below in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

completing the proceedings within the time stipulated by this Court.

4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
