The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in W.P.No.31411 of 2024 dated 22.10.2024.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the District Educational Officer (Elementary), Tiruvarur, was present before this Court.

3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents furnished a copy of the proceedings dated 06.03.2025. On going through the same, it is clear that the petitioner has been granted promotion to the post of Primary School Headmistress. The District Educational Officer tendered his unconditional apology and stated that he will not repeat such conduct in future.

4.Considering the proceedings dated 06.03.2025 and after recording the statement made by the 1st respondent, this Contempt Petition is closed.
