W.P.No.4984 of 2023 and W.M.P.No.36289 of 2019 V. LAKSHMINARAYANAN , J, Heard Mr.Balan Haridas, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms.Vijayakumari Natarajan, learned counsel for the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner drew my attention to Page No.17 of the typedset of papers whereby one V.Narasamma, who was a Sweeper and who was also dismissed from service was given the benefit of regularization from 05.08.1996 whereas it has been denied to the petitioner. Instead of regularizing the petitioner from September 1997, she has been regularized from service only from 01.05.2003.

3.The State of Tamil Nadu rep. by the Principal Secretary, (Pollution and Environment), Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board, Chennai, is suo motu impleaded as the 2nd respondent. Mr.Tippusultan, learned counsel takes notice for the newly impleaded party. He is directed to get instructions as to when the proposal made by the Pollution Control Board for regularizing the Sweepers will be decided.
