ORDER
It had been earlier noted that the Government had passed G.O.Ms.No. 333 Rural Development and Panchayat Raj dated 19.06.2025 in compliance of the direction of this Court in the Writ Petition. A copy of the Government Order had been produced for perusal of the Court.
2. Today Mr.L.Boopathi Raja, Deputy Block Development Officer (Admin), Erode District is present in Court. He had filed an affidavit of the third respondent/ District Collector, Erode in confirmation of the said Government Order and further stating that the directions in the Writ Petition had been complied with.
3. The steps taken by the Collector, Erode District is deeply appreciated.
4. It is also to be appreciated that Mr.L.Boopathi Raja and S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate have conveyed the views expressed by the Court during the hearings of the Contempt Petition in a
proper and lucid manner to the Officials concerned which enabled to passing of G.O.Ms.No. 333 Rural Development and Panchayat Raj dated 19.06.2025 and in the filing of the affidavit for the presentation before this Court.
5. The Court deeply appreciated the efforts taken by S.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate.
6. This Contempt Petition stands closed.
7. It is hoped that the monetary benefits would be disbursed to the petitioner, who is Senior Citizen of advanced age within a period of three months.
