ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police in connection with a case registered in Crime No. 1261 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 75(1)(c) of Tamil Nadu City Police Act, 1888 and Section 147, 148, 323, 397 and 506(ii) of IPC, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission of this court to withdraw the petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted.

3.
