PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, Calling for the records from the the 1st respondent pertaining to impugned proceedings Na.Ka.No. C.No.55 /P/ SDO-ET/2018 dated 05.02.2019, and quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to give the permission to conduct the demonstration on 28.02.2019 or any other date at in front of Veerappan chatram bus stand, Erode at about 10.00 AM.

O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order in Na.Ka.No. C.No.55/P/SDO-ET/2018 dated 05.02.2019, thereby denying the permission to conduct the demonstration on 06.02.2019.

2.It is seen that the petitioner has also sought for consequential direction, directing the first respondent to give permission to conduct the demonstration on 28.02.2019. Now, both the dates have lapsed. Hence, the petitioner is at liberty to give fresh representation to the second respondent in future date for conducting the demonstration. On receipt of the same, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation on merits and pass orders in accordance with law.

3. With the above direction, this Writ petition is disposed of. No Costs.
